Billing & Cancellation Policy

How SVG Lab subscriptions renew and are cancelled, how top-ups work, and why every purchase is final.

Short version. All purchases, plans and top-ups, are final and non-refundable. You can cancel a subscription at any time; it stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Top-up requests never expire and are non-refundable. This does not affect any rights you may have under the law of your country.

All purchases are final

All purchases, plans and top-ups, are final and non-refundable. SVG Lab does not give refunds for any purchase, including a subscription period you did not use, a plan you cancelled part way through, or top-up requests you did not use. The free plan and the 100 free SVG Lab MCP requests every account gets once are there so you can try SVG Lab before you pay.

This does not affect any rights you may have under the law of your country.

Auto-renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly for Pro, Plus and Max; yearly for an existing Annual Studio subscription), and your payment method is charged automatically each time until you cancel. There's no separate confirmation step at renewal; canceling ahead of the renewal date is how you stop the next charge.

Subscription cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time. Canceling stops future billing. It does not remove access immediately, and it does not refund the current period.

Changing plans

Moving between Pro, Plus and Max changes your existing subscription in place. You don't cancel and re-subscribe. When you upgrade or downgrade, Paddle prorates the difference immediately: upgrading charges you the prorated cost of the new plan for the rest of the current billing period right away, and downgrading credits the unused portion of your old plan toward the new one (as credit on the subscription, not as money back). There's no separate approval step for this charge or credit. It's applied as soon as you confirm the plan change.

SVG Lab MCP top-ups

A top-up is a one-time purchase of SVG Lab MCP requests. It does not renew and is not tied to a subscription. Top-up requests never expire, stay on your account whatever plan you are on, and are used after your plan's monthly allowance and your free requests. Top-ups are final and non-refundable, including requests you have not used.

How to cancel

Sign in to SVG Lab, open Billing, and choose Cancel renewal. The app asks for a reason, then schedules the cancellation for the end of the paid period.

Billing questions

For a receipt, an invoice, a payment that failed, or a charge you do not recognise, email support@svglab.app or use the form on the Billing page. Accounts terminated for violating the Terms of Service lose access without any payment back.

Chargebacks

Before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer, email support@svglab.app first. Chargebacks carry dispute fees and can affect the SVG Lab merchant account. If a charge is reversed, the top-up requests or plan access it paid for are removed from the account.

Filing a dispute that's found to be fraudulent or made in bad faith (for example, disputing charges for a subscription period you verifiably used) is a violation of the Terms of Service and may result in account suspension or termination and denial of future service. We'd rather resolve a billing problem directly, so email us first.

Payments and merchant of record

Plans and top-ups are sold by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, receipts, taxes, invoices, and the subscription management links included in receipt emails, under its own buyer terms.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Changes only apply to purchases made after the update date. Anything you bought under the previous policy stays under those terms.
